We are seeking a motivated and data-passionate Data Engineer Intern eager to put their skills into practice in a dynamic and innovative environment. The selected candidate will work closely with our Data Science and Data Engineering team, supporting the management of data in relational databases and the design and optimization of scalable data pipelines. We are looking for a Data Engineer with a collaborative mindset, ready to share and acquire knowledge with other team members.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines.

• Support the integration of data from various sources (databases, APIs, files, etc.).

• Participate in improving infrastructure for data collection, management, and storage.

• Monitor data quality and identify anomalies or issues within the pipeline.

• Contribute to the creation and optimization of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

• Work with Data Scientists and analysts to provide high-quality data for machine learning and advanced analytics projects.

• Maintain technical documentation for the processes and solutions implemented.

Requirements:

• A degree (in progress is also acceptable) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

• Familiarity with data management tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Airflow) is a plus.

• Knowledge of ETL processes and big data management.

• Strong problem-solving skills and team-oriented attitude.

• Curiosity, proactivity, and a desire to learn new technologies.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
